Canyon of Chuluut River |

The Chuluut River flows through a sheer basalt canyon, which extends 100 kilometers from the north of the Tuul River to Atsat. The basalt is formed of lava of nearby extinct volcanoes such Khorgo Volcano and others. The Chuluut River is plentiful in fish. There are springs at Ulaan (red) Ereg and Chuluut in the basis of Chuluut. The rock painting of Chuluut River that is located in the same places of Chuluut, Tariat and Jargalant have entered state protection since 1998
